ALBA Synchrotron
ALBA is the Spanish national synchrotron and it is an ICTS (Spanish Strategic Research Infrastructure). It is composed of 7 beamlines covering diverse scientific fields such as physics, chemistry, energy or nanotechnology. ALBA provides service to more than 1000 researchers each year and additionally, it has its own research programme focused on catalysis and materials for energy applications. ALBA has participated in more than 15 international projects and published more than 40 research papers. The team is composed by Prof. M. A. García Aranda, the four principal scientists of the beamlines participating in this project (CIRCE, CLAESS y MPSD), 6 beamline scientists and 4 postdoctoral researchers.
