Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ)
The team at ICIQ specialises in the study and control of the set of reactions involved in artificial photosynthesis, including the design of materials and molecules capable of absorbing light. The group also works on the synthesis of hybrid materials, composed of a molecular catalyst anchored on a semiconductor, capable of absorbing solar light. In the last 5 years, the group has participated in more than 10 regional, national, European-Asian and North-American research projects and published more than 165 research articles and one book. The team is led by Dr. A. Llobet and composed of 6 postdoctoral researchers and 3 PhD students.
